BERNINA International plc
BERNINA International plc has been a leading global manufacturer of sewing and embroidery machines for over 125 years. A family-owned Swiss company, its innovative products are known for their precision and, above all, their durability. Bernina sewing machines are treasured by passionate sewing enthusiasts worldwide.
Participants in sewing courses at the Migros Club School work on BERNINA and overlock sewing machines at more than 300 workstations throughout Switzerland. The overall aim of the courses is to promote creativity in textile design.
florist.ch – Swiss Florists’ Association
The Swiss Florists’ Association was founded in 1920 as a «non-profit organisation for the prosperous growth of the Swiss florist trade». florist.ch – Swiss Florists’ Association comprises eight regional sections and is a strong voice for florists in Switzerland, representing their interests to the authorities.
The Migros Club School offers floristry training courses in collaboration with florist.ch.
V-ZUG plc
V-ZUG plc is the market leader in the Swiss household appliances sector. It develops, produces and sells high-quality appliances for the kitchen and laundry room. More than 3 million of the company’s products are in use in Switzerland, meaning that a V-ZUG appliance is helping with cooking, cooling, washing and/or drying in every second Swiss home.
V-ZUG AG also supplies its high-quality household appliances to many of the Migros Club School kitchens.
Qualitop
Qualitop is Switzerland’s main testing and certification institute for health and fitness training centres, programmes and providers. Qualitop certification is awarded according to clear and binding criteria. It signifies high quality, inspires trust and offers legal certainty.
Migros Club School is certified by Qualitop as a provider for a significant proportion of its fitness and exercise courses and for its fitness instructor training programme.
Courses
Certification by Qualitop gives Migros Club School fitness and exercise course participants the opportunity to claim a contribution towards the course costs via their health insurance, providing they have the appropriate supplementary insurance.
Training programmes
The fitness instructor training programme is offered according to Qualitop criteria, enabling instructors to work in all Qualitop-certified fitness centres on completion. fide
fide stands for «Français, Italiano, Deutsch in Switzerland – learn, teach, assess». The concept determines the objectives and content of language courses and enables course instructors to train migrants in Switzerland, enhancing their language skills in a targeted manner.
As a course provider, Migros Club School contributes to the successful integration of migrants in Switzerland.
